What this recall covers
- The defect
- CFMOTO POWERSPORTS, INC. (CFMOTO) is recalling certain 2023 450SS motorcycles. The telematics box (T-box) may fall onto the front steering forks, which can cause a loss of steering control.
- The risk
- A loss of steering control increases the risk of a crash.
- The fix
- Dealers will replace the T-Box holder, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 29, 2024. Owners may contact CFMOTO customer service at 1-763-398-2690. CFMOTO's number for this recall is SAF-2024-01.
