- The defect
- Bombardier Recreational Products, Inc. (Bombardier) is recalling certain 2019-2023 Can-Am Ryker motorcycles. The impeller may swell, causing the high-pressure fuel pump to fail.
- The risk
- A fuel pump failure can cause an engine stall while driving, increasing the risk of a crash.
- The fix
- Dealers will inspect and replace the fuel pump as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 27, 2024. Owners may contact Bombardier customer service at 1-888-272-9222. Bombardier's number for this recall is Bulletin 2023-10.
