What this recall covers
- The defect
- Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain 2018-2022 Axis 25.6 and 2018-2021 Vegas 25.6 motorhomes. The heat shield between the LP tank and chassis muffler was not installed.
- The risk
- A missing heat shield increases the risk of a fire.
- The fix
- Dealers will install a heat shield, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 22, 2021. Owners may contact TMC customer service at 1-877-855-2867. TMC's number for this recall is RC000228.
