The defect
Newmar Corporation (Newmar) is recalling certain 2017 King Aire motorhomes. The seals on the headlight harness connectors may not be properly seated, allowing water to enter the connector. The fix
Newmar will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and reseat the seals as needed, free of charge. The recall began on April 21, 2017. Owners may contact Newmar customer service at 1-800-731-8300.
Notes

Is my vehicle affected?

Being on this list means your year, make and model fall inside campaign 17V229000. It does not mean your individual vehicle does: a campaign covers a range of VINs built in a specific window, and vehicles either side of that window are untouched.

Check the 17-character VIN from the driver-side dashboard or door jamb against NHTSA's lookup. If it is covered, the dealer must do the work free of charge, regardless of the vehicle's age or mileage.
