What this recall covers

The defect
Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain model year 2012-2016 Winnebago Era recreational vehicles manufactured November 11, 2010, to July 20, 2015. The certification label affixed to the vehicles provide an incorrect front tire inflation pressure. Accordingly, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of 49 CFR Part 567, "Certification."
The risk
Incorrect tire pressure information could cause an owner or operator to under or over inflate the tires, increasing the risk of a tire failure and a crash.
The fix
Winnebago will notify owners, and dealers will provide new certification labels with the correct tire inflation pressure specifications, free of charge. The recall began on September 18, 2015. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 1-641-585-3535.
Notes
Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.safercar.gov.

Is my vehicle affected?

Being on this list means your year, make and model fall inside campaign 15V490000. It does not mean your individual vehicle does: a campaign covers a range of VINs built in a specific window, and vehicles either side of that window are untouched.

Check the 17-character VIN from the driver-side dashboard or door jamb against NHTSA's lookup. If it is covered, the dealer must do the work free of charge, regardless of the vehicle's age or mileage.
