What this recall covers
- The defect
- Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling certain model 2013 Springdale 266RLSSR and 267BHSSR Travel Trailers, manufactured from November 19, 2012, through February 5, 2013. These vehicles were manufactured with the incorrect information on the Federal Identification Tag and Tire and Loading Information Label. The tire inflation pressure is incorrectly listed as 448 KPA (65 PSI) instead of 345 KPA (50 PSI). Thus, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 120, "Tire Selection and Rims for Motor Vehicles Other Than Passenger Cars."
- The risk
- Owners relying on the information contained on the label may overinflate the tires, which may result in sudden tire failure, which may increase the risk of a crash.
- The fix
- Keystone will notify owners and provide corrected labels. The recall began on February 27, 2013. Owners may contact Keystone RV Company at 1-866-425-4369.
- Notes
- Keystone's recall number is 13-189. Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.safercar.gov.

Is my vehicle affected?
Being on this list means your year, make and model fall inside campaign 13V050000. It does not mean your individual vehicle does: a campaign covers a range of VINs built in a specific window, and vehicles either side of that window are untouched.
Check the 17-character VIN from the driver-side dashboard or door jamb against NHTSA's lookup. If it is covered, the dealer must do the work free of charge, regardless of the vehicle's age or mileage.
