NHTSA 25V799000- The defect
- Tiffin Motorhomes, Inc. (Tiffin) is recalling certain 2026 Open Trail motorhomes. The Occupant and Cargo Carrying Capacity (OCCC) label may have the incorrect cargo carrying capacity information, which can result in an overloaded vehicle. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 120, “Wheels and Rims - Other Than Passenger Cars.”
- The risk
- An overloaded vehicle can cause a loss of control, increasing the risk of a crash.
- The fix
- Tiffin will mail corrected labels, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 4, 2025. Owners may contact Tiffin customer service at 1-256-356-8661. Tiffin's number for this recall is WAY-105. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning January 16, 2026.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:PROPULSION SYSTEM:INVERTER
NHTSA 25V905000- The defect
- Tiffin Motorhomes, Inc. (Tiffin) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Open Trail motorhomes equipped with an optional diesel or propane generator. The wiring harness may contain incorrectly sized wires.
- The risk
- An undersized wire can overheat, increasing the risk of a fire.
- The fix
- Dealers will replace the wiring harness, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 12, 2026. Owners may contact Tiffin customer service at 1-256-356-8661. Tiffin's number for this recall is WAY-106. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning February 20, 2026.

NHTSA 26V342000- The defect
- Tiffin Motorhomes, Inc. (Tiffin) is recalling certain 2026-2027 Open Trail, Wayfarer, and 2026 Midas recreational vehicles. The Cargo Carrying Capacity (CCC) label may have been incorrectly printed on a white label. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 120, "Wheels and Rims-Other Than Passenger Cars."
- The risk
- The incorrect label color may make it difficult for the operator to locate the loading or tire pressure information, increasing the risk of a crash.
- The fix
- Dealers will replace the label, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 2, 2026. Owners may contact Tiffin customer service at 1-256-356-8661. Tiffin's number for this recall is WAY-107.

NHTSA 26V412000- The defect
- Tiffin Motorhomes, Inc. (Tiffin) is recalling certain 2026-2027 Zephyr, Wayfarer, Phaeton, Open Trail, GT1, Allegro Red, Allegro Open Road, Allegro Bus, Allegro Bay, 2026 Midas, Byway, and Allegro Breeze recreational vehicles, equipped with certain MaxxAir N-Series Maxxfan rooftop ventilation fans. The printed circuit board may fail during certain operations and overheat.
- The risk
- An overheated printed circuit board increases the risk of a fire.
- The fix
- Dealers will replace the circuit board, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 26, 2026. Owners may contact Tiffin customer service at 1-256-356-8661.
