1 recall on the 2013 Fleetwood Terra
EQUIPMENT:OTHER:LABELS
NHTSA 13V218000- The defect
- Fleetwood RV is recalling certain model year 2013 Bounder Classic and Terra motorhomes manufactured between July 9, 2012 and January 16, 2013. The tire load index letter printed on the Federal Certification Tag is incorrect. Due to the inaccurate label, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Part 567, "Certification."
- The risk
- The vehicle may be inadvertently fitted with incorrect replacement tires, which could lead tire failure, increasing the risk of a crash.
- The fix
- Fleetwood will mail the corrected tags to dealers and owners. Owners who are not comfortable installing these labels may get them installed at a dealer, free of charge. The recall began on June 20, 2013. Owners may contact Fleetwood Owner Relations at 1-800-509-3418. Fleetwood's recall number is 130417FRV.

Checking your own RV
A recall applies to a range of VINs, not to every 2013 Fleetwood Terra built. To confirm whether yours is affected, find the 17-character VIN, on a plate near the entry door, inside a cabinet, or on the trailer tongue for a towable, and enter it in NHTSA's official lookup.
Repairs for safety recalls are free and never expire. A dealer cannot charge you, and cannot refuse on the grounds that the RV is old or out of warranty. If one does, call the NHTSA hotline on 1-888-327-4236.
